Tech & Data Career Hub ("we", "this site") respects your privacy. This page explains what information is collected when you visit, why, and how it is used.
What this site collects
This site is a static export with no server or database of its own. Personal information is collected only when you voluntarily submit it: (1) your email address, if you sign up for the newsletter — handled entirely by our email service provider; (2) the details you enter on the Contact page or the "Submit an event" form (such as your name and email address) — these are relayed directly to our inbox by a third-party form-delivery service, not stored in a database, and never shared or sold. We do not read or log the contents of these submissions anywhere on this site.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not set tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for one purpose only: remembering that you closed the newsletter signup pop-up, so it does not reappear repeatedly. No email address, name, or other personal information is ever stored in your browser by this site. If a form is displayed through embedded third-party content (for example, an iframe from our email service provider) or submitted through a third-party form-delivery service, that provider may set its own cookies or process your submission under its own privacy policy — not this site's.
Analytics and tracking
No analytics or tracking scripts are installed on this site.
Future versions of this site
An earlier, server-based version of this project included an optional email-access feature for gated content, with clearly separated consent for content access versus marketing updates. That feature is not active in this static version — see ACCESS_CONTROL_GUIDE.md for details. If a future version restores it, this policy will be updated first to reflect exactly what is collected and why.
